Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. – Deuteronomy 28:3
Sowing Ground
As clay in the potter’s hands, so we are supposed to be in the hands of God. Yes,…. the potter can mould the clay to what ever the potter chooses. As humans, God has given us the power of choice as stated in Rev. 3:20. We decide everything that we want to do.
If you read Matt. 13 especially from Matt. 13:18-30 one can understand that there are three sowing grounds and we decide which ground our seeds fall. This is the year of harvest but you can only reap what you sow. Sowing is not only about giving money at church but is also about giving of our time and energy to God’s work. What 2 Cor. 9:6-7 motivates us to do is not to give grumpily. However, give as directed by God and as led from the heart.
Now when one becomes born again, Jesus says ask me of anything and I would tell my father in heaven to provide you. It is time to change the way we think if we are to progress far in life. What ever we are today is a result of our decisions yesterday. Everything we need to progress in life is deposited inside of us and even IF it is not inside of us for one reason or the other, there is some one near us who can help. How do we know that someone?
