Attaining The Unattained (1)
The 3D+D Route to Achieving The Unattained
In this introduction, let’s explore the 3D+D Route to achieving the unattained. These Ds are fundamental prerequisites for achieving what seems unattainable. A significant number of us fail to reach our goals because we lack dedication and discipline.
About a year ago, many of us made New Year’s resolutions and had wishes, but deep down, we knew we wouldn’t achieve them. Why? Due to a lack of dedication and discipline to take even the first step. How do I know this? Because the beginning of next year is now. Therefore, whatever you haven’t started doing this year, you cannot carry over to the next year!
They say, “Charity begins at home”. This is where I emphasise the third D → Devotion. Devotion is a crucial requirement to understand in order to achieve your desires and satisfy your needs. A devout person is someone who God allow Grace to orderly deliver the required cheat sheet and The Holy Spirit appropraitely organises tihis information in a structred manner for them. In Luke 14:28, it is implied: “Which of you, wanting to build a house, would not first plan?” Therefore, the initial steps to achieving the unattainable involve getting a notepad, writing down the requirements you think are needed to achieve those heartfelt desires. At this point, you are on your way to attaining your wishes.
Remember, Jesus said to us that He is the Way (John14:6) → Discipline, the Light (John 8:12) → Dedication, and the Life → Devotion. Throughout His earthly ministry, He demonstrated these qualities to both his followers and unbelievers alike.
He who shines light in the dark gives life, and He who sustains life in his neighbour gives them light to continue the journey.
The Truth
In Joshua 1:8, a vital scripture is hidden in plain sight. It implies, “Your word must be the law.” When your word becomes law, you can bind the 3 Ds together to form another D. This concept is drawn from Genesis 1:26 – our original mandate. Also, picking the final piece from John 14:6: the only way you can be free is if you know the truth. Not as the world gives, but the truth which is a mystery on its own.
To know and understand this truth, you need a personal relationship with Christ in perfection to discover it. It is when your word is perfect, you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success. This success is when you have Dominion – The Truth. This perfection or mystery is what the Lord Jesus expects you to discover for yourself (Joshua 1:8b). The truth, which is the concept of right and wrong, makes no sense until you discover it for yourself.
